James Jeffery

I am a creative and technically minded production and technology student with a strong passion for live events, lighting, audio, and digital technology. Through hands-on experience in theatre, live music, and technical production, I have developed a practical understanding of how creative ideas are transformed into engaging experiences. I enjoy working across both the creative and technical sides of production, from programming lighting and mixing live sound to designing digital tools and exploring new technologies.

I have worked on a wide range of productions, developing skills in lighting, sound, QLab, DMX control, show programming, and technical problem-solving. I am particularly interested in the intersection between technology and live performance, and I enjoy finding innovative ways to make production workflows more efficient, intuitive, and visually engaging. Alongside production work, I regularly experiment with software, hardware, and creative technology projects, continually expanding my technical knowledge.
